Decompression Therapy for Spinal Stenosis

Lumbar Decompression Therapy is used to treat patients with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS) and other ailments such as Sciatica, muscle spasm and nerve root irritation. Lumbar Spinal Stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal. In some cases, it can cause pressure on the nerves in the lumbar. Symptoms include pain, tingling and numbness in the low back that may or may not radiate into the legs and reduced ability to stand and walk.

Spinal Stenosis may be the result of aging and degeneration of the spine as well as increased bone growth and thickening of the spinal ligaments. Spinal Decompression is a safe noninvasive treatment that is a therapeutic option to relieve pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. It can help reduce the severity of your lower back and leg pain. It may even increase mobility for those patients diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS).
